Various Sports Cover
All leisure and non-professional sports such as hot-air ballooning, scuba diving to a depth of not greater than 30 meters below sea level, winter sports, water skiing, rafting, sailing, windsurfing, bungee jumping or horse riding activities are covered. However, trekking at an altitude limit greater than 5,000 metres above sea level or diving to a depth greater than 30 metres below sea level are excluded.

Automatic 10 Days Extension of Cover
If after the commencement of the trip, the original scheduled itinerary has been unavoidably interrupted or delayed as a result of natural disaster, unanticipated outbreak of industrial action involving the arranged public conveyance, riot, civil commotion, act of terrorist, hijack, adverse weather conditions or the mechanical breakdown or derangement of the conveyance, the period of insurance cover will be automatically extended for a maximum period of 10 calendar days.

Age Limit(up to 85)
Insurance coverage is applicable to HONG KONG RESIDENTS below the age of 85.
For Insured Persons who aged 65 or above and under the age of 16, Extra indemnity cover for accidental death on licensed public conveyance under Personal Accident section is not applicable and the Maximum Benefits of other Personal Accident and Medical Expenses cover are limited to 50% of the selected plan’s standard amount.

Provides emergency evacuation, repatriation and other assistance during your trip, when necessary.
Cover for loss or damage arising from acts of terrorism (except for any acts of nuclear, chemical, biological terrorism)

MAJOR EXCLUSIONS
- General exclusions:
War, acts of nuclear, chemical, biological terrorism, suicide, self-inflicted injury, alcohol or drug abuse, illegal acts and professional sports, trekking at an altitude limit greater than 5,000 metres above sea level or diving to a depth greater than 30 metres below sea level.
- Medical treatment
In Hong Kong and non-essential treatment, surgery or hospitalization or pre-existing medical conditions, and any travel contrary to the advice of a medical practitioner or for the purpose of necessary medical or surgical treatment.
- Cancellations:
due to financial circumstances, disinclination to travel or medical conditions existing on the date of issue of insurance.
due to any medical or physical conditions or other circumstances affecting the Insured Person, the Insured Person’s Immediate Family Member, Close Business Partner or Travel Companion which exist on the date of issuance of this Policy.
- Travel delays:
due to the cause or condition which exists or has been announced at the date of issuance of this Policy.
- Baggage:
with normal wear and tear, confiscation by customs and damage to fragile articles.
- Liability:
for employers' liability, contractual liability or liability to a member of an Insured Person's family. Liability arising from wilful malicious or unlawful acts of the Insured Person. Damage to property owned by or held in trust, or in the custody of a member of his/her family, ownership, procession use or control of vehicles, aircraft or water craft, etc are excluded.
- Losses of personal belongings:
which are not reported to the police or notified to the relevant airline, hotel or travel agency within 24 hours of discovery.
- Cruise cover
No benefits will be payable for the cruise claim in respect of same loss under Trip Cancellation and Curtailment and Travel Delay benefits.
The above premium does not include levy. A levy of 0.1% on premium shall be imposed.

No. Travel insurance should be purchased immediately after booking your flight or accommodation.
This ensures protection against pre-departure risks such as trip cancellation, weather disruption and unforeseen events, providing coverage from the planning stage onward.
All Travel Insurance must be purchased before the commencement of your journey. If you buy Travel Protection after your fight departed, you will not be covered. Also, your trip must depart from Hong Kong and return to Hong Kong in order to be eligible for the coverage.
